How I Came to Conclude that 9/11 was an Inside Job
Author's Note: I would like to dedicate this article to all the 9/11 first responders - the police, firefighters and rescue workers - many of whom have since died and the many more who are still sick. I would like to dedicate this in particular to David Miller, a 9/11 first responder who is now sick and dying and who, at a speech given at Cooper Union last year, ended his address by saying, "We were also killed on 9/11. Avenge us." This is my poor attempt to help do just that.
Let me start by saying that I am basically a lifelong Republican/Conservative (albeit with a Libertarian bent) who voted for George W. Bush not once, but twice. Until recently (early 2007), I supported us going to war with Iraq, even though I knew they had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks, because I believed we were going into that country as “liberators, not occupiers”. Now knowing that we have built an embassy larger than the Vatican, and are building 14 permanent military bases in a country the size of Texas, I am left to believe I was lied to.
And I also now believe the 9/11 attacks were an inside job.
Just a few months ago, I thought anyone who believed our government (or rather, criminal elements within our government) would have attacked us in such a way was crazy. But after a few people I love and respect told me they shared this view, I was forced to have another look at the events of that day.
There IS a lot of garbage on the internet - like that no planes actually hit the towers, or that mysterious "pods" were attached to the planes, or that UFO's were seen around the buildings. I started to think, "Well, I was right. Just a bunch of crazy conspiracy theories." But then I came across a video of the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. Building 7 was a 47-story steel and concrete structure that was not hit by an airplane. Yet, that building collapsed straight down at nearly free-fall speed at 5:20 in the afternoon of September 11th in a manner that too closely resembled a controlled demolition.
If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck…
Some interesting tenants of Building 7 included: The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), The United States Secret Service, The New York office of Emergency Management (Rudy Giuliani's emergency "command bunker"), Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS), the Department of Defense (DOD), and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
It was essentially what is called a “spook house”…a home base for spies.
Please note that before or since September 11, 2001, no steel structured building has ever collapsed due to fire. Yet, on 9/11, THREE did. Even if you factor in the plane crashes for the North and South Towers, that still does not explain Building 7. And, as far as the planes crashing into the Twin Towers, Frank A. DeMartini, architect and construction manager at the World Trade Center (and a victim of the 9/11 murders) said:
"The [Twin Tower] building was designed to have a fully loaded 707 crash into it. That was the largest plane at the time. I believe that the building probably could sustain multiple (my emphasis) impacts of jetliners because this structure is like the mosquito netting on your screen door. This intense grid and the jet-plane is just a pencil puncturing that screen netting. It really does nothing to the screen netting."

So, the collapse of Building 7 was what got me to open my eyes. As I continued to research the events of that day, I was surprised to find out that many of the people claiming 9/11 was an inside job were not wacko conspiracy theorists, but respected scientists, engineers, professors, military and law enforcement personnel. One of them, Professor Steven Jones (who also claims it was Building 7 that caused him to take another look at these events), is a respected physicist from Brigham Young University, a former Bush supporter (he voted for Bush/Cheney in 2000 and in 2004), and a Mormon who earned his Bachelor's Degree in physics at BYU, magna cum laude. Again, you can find many videos of him on YouTube and Google. Also, look for videos by the following people: David Ray Griffin PhD, Col. Robert Bowman PhD, Kevin Ryan, Jeff King, Mike Ruppert and David Miller.

Lastly, “9/11 Revisited: Were Explosives Used” is an excellent documentary that puts you right back at the scene of the crime.
It is interesting to note that Alex Jones, on his radio show in July of 2001, predicted the 9/11 attacks, saying that the US government would stage false-flag terror events and would blame Osama Bin Laden. In fact, Alex Jones is the producer of many documentaries, both pre and post 9/11 that explain the "why"...why the government would do such a thing. Basically, it's this: America is the last world "superpower" (even though that’s kind of like being valedictorian of summer school), and is being sold out to “globalists” (international bankers and corporations) who are looking to establish a one world government (a "new world order"). In order for their "vision" to take place, we must lose our freedom - our Constitutionally protected, yet God-given rights. And the quickest and best way to get people to give up their freedom willingly is to scare the hell out of them.
It would serve us well to remember what Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
However, in spite of all this, there are two facts that have convinced me beyond all doubt that 9/11 was an inside job - a staged event.
First, the Twin Towers, two of the largest and strongest structures ever built - over 100 stories of concrete, steel and glass - collapsed to the ground in less than 15 seconds. That is nearly free-fall speed - meaning there was virtually no resistance in the collapse. The only way that could happen is if the floor below was blown out of the way of the floors falling from above. Also, the buildings were reduced to dust - a fine dust the consistency of talcum powder. 110 stories of concrete, steel and glass, filled with desks, filing cabinets and other large pieces of office equipment...all dust. One firefighter was quoted saying “the biggest piece of office equipment I found was half of a telephone key-pad”. (Yet, coincidentally, Mohammed Atta's passport survived intact.)
Second, the Pentagon. It is completely unreasonable for me to believe that the heart of this nation's defense apparatus could be attacked an hour after the first tower was hit in N.Y. Where was our air defense - the fighter jets or the Apaches? Where were the anti-aircraft batteries to stop that plane from crashing into the Pentagon? The answer is simple. The Pentagon was hit because someone on the inside wanted it hit. There is no other explanation.
It is also interesting to note that on September 10th, 2001, Donald Rumsfeld had announced that the Pentagon could not account for $2.3 trillion dollars of its budget. In other words, the Pentagon lost $2.3 trillion dollars. The plane just happened to crash into the wing of the Pentagon where the financial records were being stored…on the OPPOSITE side of the building from where the Defense Secretary and the Joint Chiefs have their offices. In order to hit this side of the Pentagon, Hani Honjour, who had trouble flying a Cessna, had to execute a 260 degree loop with a 757. One pilot has said, "For a guy to just jump into the cockpit and fly like an ace is impossible – there is not one chance in a thousand."
There is also former Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta’s story about being in the command bunker with Vice President Cheney that morning. He says that a young man kept entering the room to tell Cheney “the plane is 50 miles out”, “the plane is 30 miles out”. When he got down to 10 miles out, the young man asked the Vice President “Do the orders still stand?” to which Cheney replied, “Of course the order still stands…have you heard anything to the contrary?”
Why was this “young man” never questioned? What was the “order” Cheney was talking about? And why, when they knew a plane was headed into the nation’s capitol, was nothing done?
There is a Latin phrase: "Qui bono?" or "Who benefits?" Well, defense spending has more than doubled, oil profits are at an all time high, and the government has gained unprecedented power through the so-called "PATRIOT" Act. Indeed, who benefited?
Lastly, about Osama Bin Laden. It is a fact that in the 1980's the CIA was in Afghanistan funding, arming and training the Mujahedeen (of whom Osama was a member and benefactor) in their fight with the Soviets. So, in effect, Osama was working with the CIA. I believe he still does.
It is also interesting to note that Osama bin Laden’s step-brother, Salim bin Laden was an investor in George W. Bush’s Arbusto Energy in the 1970’s (Salim died in a plane crash in May 1988). In fact, the Bush’s and bin Laden’s were also business partners in the Carlyle Group.
As I said, I voted for Bush/Cheney twice. And while I am ashamed to admit that now, I am still a registered Republican. But, thanks in part to Ron Paul, my eyes have been opened. I remember now that the rights of the individual are paramount, and that as a nation we should treat other countries the way we would like to be treated.
And for all you liberal Bush haters out there, I have some bad news: Clinton knew what was going on too (as did his wife), which is why he let Osama get away - because Osama was never meant to be caught. The debate is no longer right and left - it's right and wrong. It is time for us to stop being good Republicans and good Democrats, and start being good Americans.
As far as I am concerned, the people that Eisenhower warned us about in his farewell speech are the same people who killed JFK, and are the same band of criminals who have hijacked our government and are selling us out to the "New World Order"...which is nothing but the same old tyranny. Since 9/11 was the greatest crime ever committed in America, it should have been the most thoroughly investigated, so that the truly guilty could be identified, and tried for murder and treason…and receive the just punishment.
